Stotfold 10th BRCA National - Ellis and Lee Martin take win & Championship

The final round of the 2008 BRCA 10th off road National Series drew to a close at the all-astro Stotfold track as it did in 2007. The 2WD championship was already decided in favour of Ellis Staffords XFactory X6 - the 4WD title however had come down to the last meeting, with only three possible winners, Lee Martin, Ellis Stafford and Chris Doughty.

Ellis Stafford qualified second behind Neil Cragg - but it was Ellis that took the win to go with his 2WD championship title.
Lee Martin in the 4WD class had won the series by round three of qualifying - with neither of his title challengers able to TQ the meeting for the extra point, it meant they couldn't catch him. Lining up second behind Darren Bloomfield, Lee took the first two legs of the A final to seal another National win.
