My advise, stay well clear of an elise costing less than £8k. If you buy a cheap one, its cheap for a reason. You will end up spending £2k min getting it sorted.
Typical things to go, orginal red koni shocks, suspension bushes, steering rack. You also wana check for signs of HGF, and any chassis damage as if thats damaged, the car is more or less worth nothing.
