Default Shaft-Drive TRF501x?

Is Tamiya planning to make a TRF501x-ish car but a shaft driven instead of belt driven? I saw a picture here on this site that had a prototype Tamiya that was shaft driven.

Would be nice if Tamiya made a DF-03 that was more race-worthy then an MS version. Instead of just throwing in upgrades, that should've been in their regular kit in the first place, I mean, plastic shocks? Even the Evader has aluminum body shocks.

Would be nice to see a TRF-DF-03 or something. Graphite chassis, shock towers, aluminum lower gear box (like the one that GPM makes), keep the plastic arms, hubs, those are ok...

Tamiya, are you reading this?

Now the above picture looks like your run-of-the-mill touring car conversion, but if they can make the chassis layout like the DF-03, I'm sold.

Currently, you can turn your DF-03 into a racer, but it takes a lot of $$$ (or pounds for those of you in the UK)...
