DB-01 Vs DF-03MS

Just wondering on what some of the off-road experts in here would suggest.

I would like to buy an electric tamiya off-road for a change from the on-road scene and need some advice:

Is it worth buying the DB-01 or spend the extra £15 and get the DF-03MS. I am on a budget and will leave the buggy stock without any hop-ups

Is the DF-03MS better than the DB-01 (both on stock form)? Main use will be bashing and some
racing with friend. Nothing on competition basis.
