B44 Front Wheels

Has anyone else had the hexes strip on the B44 front wheels? I had two go from different pairs at the weekend, much to my frustration, they both only lasted about 3 minutes. This is the first time I have used the associated wheels, and the first time I have ever stripped a wheel
