X6 Rear Hinge Pins

I bent the kit items a few months ago and so decided to purchase the DDP steel versions. (DDP 020). They are not cheap but following on from the note on the X Factory web page, saying "They're simply the best pins I've ever found. They fit great and won't bend or break." I bought them.

Well last week I broke one of them!
But the wishbone did not break.

Has this happened to any other X6 owners?

PS I have now got the Ti pins. Hope these last a little longer.
