Considering the shift in weight distribution brought about by using LIPOs, how do you feel your chassis has responded to it.
Personally speaking, I have only tried LIPO in my TRF501X. The car is very fast with NIMH, but if I had to pick one weakness, it would be that it is not as pointy in corners as other cars, despite my best efforts in playing with setups. Having ran LIPOs in it now, I feel the change in weight distribution improves the chassis, by moving CoG forward slightly, giving the car the extra turn in, whilst retaining a very stable rear end. I feel that a TRF501X will adapt well to running LIPOs, and just want to hear from others how their chassis responds? Could LIPOs cause some chassis to lose their competitive edge (without adding weight) and become too twitchy or un balanced??
