Optimized RC Products - Tamiya 501X gearbox covers

It’s getting on for 10 months since we saw the first shots of the Tamiya TRF501X gearbox covers from OPTIMIZED RC at the 2007 10^th off road Euros – but they are finally available to buy.

The initial covers are being sold due to popular demand – but with the Optimized logo still to be added and the finishing touches to the mould not yet implemented these are really hot off the press. Fit and finish is apparently good – it’s just final touches like the logo which will appear later on – but if you can’t wait, you can get the covers now for €19 (euro) directly from Optimized, or alternatively In France Select Models and Team Azarashi in Japan are selling these items exclusively

The covers provide a more complete coverage of the REAR gearbox on the TRF 501X, attaching from both front and rear with only small holes for the belt to exit.
