I got bored today, so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and find a use for my old IRS TC3 chassis...
![]() ![]() Sorry for the appalling camera phone pictures. Not bad for an afternoon with the dremel Now it's only a proof of concept so there are, 'issues'. I fully expect it will snap in half if I land it too hard as I've had to take so much off the chassis at the back, those kind of issues ![]() I've tried to keep all the heavy stuff as close togeather as possible and the weight distribution front to back is almost exactly the same as a standard car. If anything it's a bit heavier at the back than normal. The gearbox and rear suspention are all un-altered, and a standard gear cover + bodyshell fit too. The wishbones are mounted to a carbon fibre T-plate with modified BJ4 suspention mounts, and by making the rear shock tower in two parts I can use a standard BJ4 rear shock tower too. Just need a meeting to run it at now
