I run a car at Garforth it's an
old TC3. I find that the car is still quite competitive. My radio gear isn't up to much either.
I'm not as fast as Bally, Buzz, Guy, Jonny, Mick or Binns but that might not be just down to the car. One crash/spin can make the difference between A final and B final (last time I was bQ) and that was all down to my driving.
IMHO any car will be good for Garforth even second hand ones. Any 19t spec motor will get you round also. The best gear doesn't always win races.
The racing is fast and cheap. One set of slicks will last ages, upto a year so I've been told.
