Default Any luck finding Durga parts?

Has anyone had any luck find replacement parts for the DB01 Durga?

I am an old-timer and have not been involved with RC cars for about 20 plus years. My Grass Hopper still runs though (hee, hee). For Christmas I decided to get my son involved and decided to buy him a Durga. We finally built the car and a have only ran it about a dozen times so fare. It seems that we missed a part during the build so the drive belts were exposed. Needless to say it seems a piece of wood mulch has gotten into the drive housing and caused the front drive belt to slip to the side of the center pulley causing the pulley to become melted into a ball of smooth plastic. I have spent the past 2 weeks trying to find a replacement part #53989 and #53989 but have not had any luck.

None of the local hobby stores carry parts for this car. In fact, more than half of the stores I called never even heard of it? I called Tamiya and they could / would not help. All they told me is they don’t have stock on this item and can’t place an order. Also, none of the on-line searches I did came up with anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where / how to get some parts for this car? Why so hard to find?
