Default 501X worlds edition brushless gearing comparisons.

I thought id ask some advice first of all regarding my new worlds 501x and its gearing.

My old 501x ran a nvak gtb 4.5 sintered indoors and outdoors on a 96t spur and pinion range from 16 inddors to 17 - 18 outdoors. Duration was never a problem , speed was fine and temps were always good.

New 501x came with a smaller 91t spur and have started with a 15t pinion and have also tried a 16t. Tbh i couldnt really tell any difference, but after having a chat with a few other racers, they all think the pinion is way too small.

The gtb's recomended ratio is around 13.000 and that equates to a reccomended pinion of a round 14 to 15 coupled with the recomended 91t spur. Im just curios to find out what others use with a similar combo.

Thanks

Col.
