fitting mamba to gb-01

quick question, what pinions are people using on a mamba motor/gb-01 setup

I was just trying to install it into the car but couldn't get the stock pinions onto the shaft. Do i need different pinions? or should i drill out the hole a bit to make it fit?

didnt come with any motor screws either so i need to find some of them as well as the tamiya ones are the wrong size for it.
