Default Just been given these

Just been given these nitro cars to do up
1 i believe is a thunder tiger mta-4 & the other a hpi mt2
Are they worth doing up?
I better point out that electric is my thing & have never had a nitro buggy so i have no idea what i am looking at or if it's worth me doing up
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Cheers guys

tbh mate, they could only be used for bashing about and will prob need engine work as well as rebuild with new parts where needed,so could be costly.
if you did decide to give it a go it could be fun and if you need engine advice then maxbashing is a good place to ask questions.
good luck dude

Well, this fourth picture shows one of those new "green" engines - you know, the ones that run on Wind Power. You can just use the wooden engine mount you see in the picture and put it straight into the bonnet.

Awesome performance like you wouldnt believe... and if you are losing the race, just slice up the other guy's car in front of you for the big win.

hehehe, sorry couldnt resist

The one with the Orange shell looks like a MTA4, bought one about 5 years ago retail then was approx £450, so ebay it as if the engine has stood for some time in a damp environment and no after run oil it will prob need a full rebuild (Piston, Liner and bearings at least).
