Default XERUN 60amp or 120amp

Would be running in a Durango with a 6.5 SP V.3. At present i run a SP GT 1.1 but am getting mugged for top speed so need something with a bit of boost . Does anyone know if you get the same options with the 60amp 2.1 as you do with the 120amp.

The Xeruns all use the same firmware (and it can be installed on the newer Speed Passions too). There's little chance the 60A version could run a boosted 6.5T though (The Xtreme Stock, a 60A HW speedo, will do 10.5 in a 2wd, but would be pushing it in a 4wd). The 120A 1S (it does 2S too, don't worry) or v2.1 are your best bets from the Xerun stable.

The difference between v2 and v2.1 is hardware, not software. v2.1 has smaller capacitors and other improvements.

Both run identical firmware.

How much boost? I believe the 60A is good to 5.5T if you don't use dynamic timing advance or turbo, which the OP wanted.

Can't Remember exactly without plugging it all in, but it certainly has some, about two thirds of the max boost if I recall.
I misread that the query was for a 4wd, so my post probably wasn't that helpful!

I think the 60a would struggle in a 4wd with anything less than a 8.5, especially if you hammer the timing.

Am running the Xtreme stock in a Durango with a 7.5 with the non-boosted software (with a ratio around 9).
Speedo is max 48°C and motor does not get higher then 75°C.
Running in Kampenhout on high grip astro.
I preferred the Xtreme due to size constraints in the Durango.
Am running the Tresrey shell for extra cooling.

Gonna go for the xerun 120 v2.1. I have spend the whole evening reading about firmware and boost settings and have to say i am more confused now than i was at the start

Could anyone advise which firmware version they are running on the ESC for a mod motor. Would like to get an idea on turbo settings etc

Thanks in advance

i have asked about this a while ago and was told to only run the boost settings if you are using a controlled motor eg 10.5t to gain an advantage. In a buggy i was told if i wanted more power / speed it would be best to buy a faster motor and not run the boost settings as i was asking for trouble otherwise.
