Its for numpties that only buy a car for the name. A 2wd Landy/Rangy goes against everything the badge stands for. If you want a 2wd car buy a Ford Mundano, its the same running gear.

Technically it's not the first 2wd as they built several series2 and series 3s for the RAF with a tube for the front axle [/anorak] sorry couldn't resist! Wonder when they will bring out a 2wd Freelander? To be fair to JLR they've got to do something otherwise they will get pounded by the latest EU targets for reducing emissions. But would I be interested in a 2wd LR? No!!
