My mate had a Super Burner - the black & gold one. There is one in the pic top right of the burner world banner above, second bike back.

He told me that he held the world record for the longest ever skid (non-back-pedal-brake cat'), looking back he may have been belming.

Unfortunatly I had a Grifter - only all these years later do I see the error of my ways.

Thanks Dan. I can't take credit for it though. I sketched out the design and sent it to Blakey Designs. Mick turned it around in under week. I like it so much, I've ordered a spare!

BTW thanks for the heads up on my slipping diff!

John,

Obviously Dianne is the best person to contact, however on SUnday she did say that IF the regional was cancelled we would run a meeting at Batley. I can't make it though so we might need to get the keys off dianne as we were putting the track out from 11 on Sunday and still ran late.

Top burner Jim!!! That must of been a later one with the simplex mags. I had a yellow and blue tuff burner with the skyway mags on they where the god of wheels in there day!! Still though i wrecked it painting it flousecent orange and painted the wheels white. Never know what happened to it though might be still in me dads garage, being used as a spiders climbing frame. Bet there worth a few quid though now..

Dianne has confirmed, meeting IS on. I'll update site after work. I have keys, although not sure if I will be going if not I may be able to pass them on to someone.
