Hi Woody,

Any tips really, is there anything obvious with the setup, eg are the springs way to soft/hard? Anything that already looks fragile?

For shock pistons there should be a letter molded into one side, A having the largest holes and C having the smallest.

Only thing i've broke is a C-hub and steering knuckle.. Frequency-conflict and runaway into barrier

Probably go get some more photos this weekend - I only have photos from Tiverton and it's hard to get nice shots for a review in a racing situation where I can't set the car up how I like or get in positions I like to get the photo.

Anyone know what wheels will fit front and rear, I am in need of spares urgently for the weekend!

at the end of the day i had a bigger hole piston in the rear than the front and oil wise i was 25 wtg in front and 22.5 in rear. regards wheels AE will fit the rear but front will only fit Kyosho. Sorry.

Are the kit springs ok, or is it advisable to change them for something harder?

If I get chance I'll measure them but we didn't use them at the weekend, instead opting for AE springs, Brown front, silver rear. But the track (Tiverton) isn't like most tracks so I guess this weekend Stu will head out with something a little more like a regular B4 spring setup, have to see, he is boss! lol.

Yeah I don't even know what surface I am on this weekend, don;t know if anyone has been to Marston?

I run TRF501x in 4wd, so think I am going to start with the 501 kit springs (Medium) on the Ultima with Tamiya 400 Oil (I belive that equates to about 40wt AE?) and see how it goes!! Anyone can warn me if I am way off on that setup though!

Are the wheels pretty strong, I have no spare ones at all?

Regards to DaveG I think you will need a stiffer spring on the front then the back but I think you will be ok for now. The wheels are ok, strong enough. If you havent run it yet be aware there is a lot of rear end grip.

Try running the standard B4 grass setup as a good starting point ! i will be at marstons on sunday if you are having problems
