Ah, I remember seeing that a while ago - very nice indeed. I guess it's the more practical and usable option - but still, the rc4WD is amazing. I could do a real nice paint job on that had body too!

Body is good value by the looks of it!

That is the nuts though, a guy at work would go crazy for that as he's well into his off roading (Disco 3 and an old V8 Defender)

if you build them right, and seal in the electrics, they go anywhere, the scale ones look ace, but you can't go all out crawling with them, but then an all out crawler always looks a little odd... me, I love the scale stuff, and my wallet refuses to come out when I go to RC4WD lol

That ABS body is the same one that fits that rc2wd chassis! I want one but i want a defender 110 which requires some modification as you can only really get 90's.

They are the same bodies They are off a toy but the guy selling them from HK buys them unpainted from the manufacturer of the toys so you can get the shell without the rest of it and unpainted.

Looks great!

I just got a cc01 Tamiya Jeep as I really fancy a more scale looking off-roader. They have wheel arches etc so will be even better for mud and water. I dont think the Jeep shell will even be built as I am getting one of those landrover ones

I've also made a Range rover sport, but on a ta01 chassis. It looks pretty good.. albeit more a gangsta car than a full on mudslinger like the Landy.

I wonder why Tamiya have never built either a Range Rover or a Land rover Rc?

I've had a pair of Tamiya CC01 project trucks waiting for me to do something with them.

And a Rangie to suit once I stretched the wheelbase:

And a Pajero project!

that the range rover shell I've used on my ta01. I fitted leds etc on it and added some detail onto the shell.

I just need some good license plates to add to it
