Here's my DEX410, definitely the highest quality car I've built to date and the relatively high cost price is justified. I've ordered some spares direct from Durango UK and they turned up next day, awesome service and a lot better than the previous car I ran.

The first time I drove the car was yesterday in the 4 minutes practice at Worksop, prior to this all I had done is check the wheels went in the right direction. Despite this I had no problems and achieved my best result to date at worksop!

The only changes I've made to the car are HPI/Hot Bodies ball studs, J Concepts cups and Associated FT 50mm Turnbuckles. The front chassis post are stronger brass ones from JayST.

I'm running a Tekin RS pro and redline 6.5. Futaba 9551 servo, specktrum HRS reciever and MRT transponder.

Paint is by Jon Miller at www.rcshells.co.uk

Intresting to see some different wiring optoins.

Quite a few now with the speedo mounted forwards.
All look amazing though, especially the mikovic paint job.

Hello Olly
As you know know from wednesday night i was running the old original durango cause it is much quicker in faversham and have realised that the weight of the old car has more weight in the cells area so i am trying this....and removing the rear weight cause i am finding it penduluming a bit

Basicly i am running more inboard weight and less outboard like the older car...coz my old one is much quicker in there
cheers..hope this made sense

I think i get you, i took the two twelves off last wed, and it felt less pendula.

Was thinking possibly taking the big back one off and putting the twelves back on. I guess this is on the same lines as yourself, bringing the weight more inboard..... but will have to think twice before installing some of the slabs you have there!!

Very interested to see how you get on though...

On new rubber, and trying to get to grips with a GM esc..... You are going to do some whooping for some time......

once i get a little more settled, maybe i could give a set of your weights a try... interesting experiment!
