Default Socket set

What would be the best allround tool for use on the B4. Had trouble getting the ball studs on the front shock tower, I know it says to tap the holes first and i do not have any of the kit tools as it was second hand, so what do those in the know use and where can i buy it . Thanks.

You need a 2mm, a 3/32 a 1/16 and a 0.05 and for the ball studs a 3/16 nut driver, an 11/32 nut driver for the rear wheel nuts and maybe a 1/4 nut driver for the front wheel nuts depending on whether it's a team factory or a stealth.

Get decent quality tools and they will last you a lifetime

Dynamite do a set of imperial socket drivers for just over a tenner, pretty good for the money and work fine. (although not that trick looking)

They also do hex drivers, but the two smaller sizes rounded off after about three uses on a friends set, so I would recommend EDS ones instead, they are very good quality. (and look cool too) Think the set of 4 is around £25 quid..
