Default LRP Ai Problem or feature?

Hi all.
I've just got the LRP Ai Digital Pro Reverse speedo, and I'm not sure about it! When I go forward then try to brake, the car seems to switch straight to reverse. That is, there doesn't seem to be a delay between coming to a halt and going backwards. There is a perceivable lock of the wheels when break is applied but it is only for a fraction and then reverse kicks in. Does anyone use one of these and have a similar problem or does it sound like a fault?
Thanks.

reverse doesn't start to work until the wheels have come to a complete stop, so if you lock them up on the brake,IE skidding it will think the car has stopped and engage reverse,
try backing of the brake a little on the transmitter so it doesn't skid but slows the car up nice and quick, then as soon as the car stop's, it will engage reverse then
