It was based on the Pro-x buggy a few years ago.....it wasn't very popular in this country.
Try rc-tech forums http://www.rctech.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4 they might be able to give you more info. For parts, try ebay.com....they sometimes appear on there. |

online manual for the buggy, but should give you most of the build info you may need.

It wasnt popular because the gearbox would not last 5 mins. The team tried them in practise at basildon at the worlds if I remember then went back to the Triumph ?? I had the buggy and tons of spares but could not get a race out of it !!

Well when I was at the Ayre Valley Nationals, Bob Gammon chucked his quite a fair distance and said it was the most rubbish car he had ever raced. Then he said he was no longer driving Kyosho for 2wd and is gonna drive Associated at the worlds. Nuff said really, rubbish, but looked the biz. Gear box was not a very good design and the spares need for it were ridiculous, looks were very decieving with this car as it didnt work well at all.

Well the PRO-X was the only one that was no good. The RB5 Type R and the newer versions are superb. I had the Type R over here and was a well built kit. I also liked the Triumph as well, even though a lot of people didnt, but I think Jamie Booth won the 2wd nats with it so it wasnt a bad buggy at all either.

Funny you say that. Craig Harris bet me that I couldnt do a season with 1400 SCRs and I used a 10 Double Corally in my Lazer ZXR geared on 8.5 ish to one and lasted for the race time (Ok if I didnt crash). I finished 3rd in Wales which wasnt bad considering.
