I think he's taking a while to trick out his E-Firestorm with the works.
Superglue, Sharpie markers and blue paint...

Maybe he's finalising his sponsorship deal with Wendy's... (I'll do it for a Baconator )

Brian, please let us know what you're up to and how he racing is going

Maybe he's glued his fingers to the chassis...

I heard this story (about a swede of course) who was gluing tires late at night, in his kitchen, while drinking beers (sorry, don't knot the brand. Probably not Pripps Blue)... barefoot...

When he was finished he could not move...

While we're waiting... how's the cooking going?

Ready for the Lava Cake receipe? (dessert)

The cooking is going really well!

It has been nice grilling weather so I have been experimenting with marinades and meat tenderising techniques Couscous and grilled vegetables with Harissa/tomato vinaigrette is a nice easy side for meat!

Also been working on danish apple desserts. Really tasty!

How does lava cake go then?

Are you going to Kampenhout?

Sounds great man!

Lava Cake:
1) you a need teflon coated form/tray (cup cape shapes). IKEA for instance sells this.
2) 4 eggs, 60g sugar, 200g chocolate, 180g butter, 80g white flavour.
3) mix egg and sugar.
4) melt chocolate and butter, let cool off a bit.
5) mix it all together.
6) gradually add flavour.
7) fill the shapes, this should be enough for approx. 8 cakes.
8) put in the oven at 200 deg for 12 minutes

Serve immedeately with vanilla ice cream. Or hot melted berries etc. When you serve it there will still be hot, liquid chocolate pouring out... hence "lava"

Enjoy!

I'm getting married the same weekend, maybe next year! But then again, I'm married then...

Impressive! Have you been living outside of Germany?

Btw. have you ever watched "Formula Offroad" from Iceland? Extremely cool cars! Kinda confusing though as 7/10 contenders are named Gunnar Gunnarson... who cares who wins then really?

Now flamish, that's difficult to understand. I can read it without problems but don't understand one single word when it's spoken...

I'd say he eats small children for breakfast and washes them down with drain cleaner

@ SHY Lived a couple of places and met a couple of very strange but very nice scandinavians

People from Iceland always have to stick out somehow... It is very noticable they live on an island and it isn't really surprising many of them are called the same

lol sponsorship with wendys...you guys are too much....rof....rof...!!

I'm thru with sharpies. The stock black rims are perfect, and clean easy.

This is how I did at the main with the E-firestorm.

My ball studd ripped out at lap 8 and I was done.
I should have threadlocked those nuts on the ballstuds.

The second heat Lockhart had 18 laps, I had 15 laps.
Pretty sad Lock can walk the floor with people with a 13.5 brushless w/Lipo.
People in this town need to knuckle down and practice!!

I came so close with tieing locks track record of 19.1.
The second heat I got a 19.5. I came so, so, close there.

This was also my first time in 5 years to run electric truck.
Trucks are much easier to drive than 4WD electric buggies.
Maybe they are supposed to be.

Hey Brian!!

In a three man heat there will usually be a wide gap between the people.

You were turning in consistent laptimes up until where your balljoint came out. Consistency is the key to going fasterover the distance, so it's looking good.

How did you get along with the E-Firestorm? Did it hold up ok? How was the setup? What motor were you running in it? And the biggest question, did you find it a bit easier to drive than the 4WD's?
