Default NiMH Battery For Vantage III

I made a drop in replacement battery for Gareth Stantons KO Vantage III a few months back and am wondering if there is much of a market now for people wanting to use a heatshrink pack in their Vantage III's? (now that this Tx is very popular).

The one I did for Gareth was fitted with a servo plug and was neat enough that it allowed you to pull it out and put Alkaline AA cells in (or rechargeable AA's) in an emergency situation.

If people are interested it would be good to hear. The packs I make for the Sanwa Gemini II are very popular.

Cheers
N

Hi Mat,

I will see if Nick has his on Thursday and look what can be done. If he is not there I will take a look at one on Sunday at Coventry.

I have a 2300mAh pack in my 3VC ... I think it's AA size cells 8 in a row ( IIIIIIII ), 2 pin type reciever pack plug (the little red ones) on the end. That might help Neil.

If Neil can't do you a pack then I'll let you know where I got mine from, 3 years old and still going strong. That said a second pack for these pesky 2 day meetings and maybe another for my plane controller wouldn't go a miss.

From what i have seen neil the futarba pack is pretty much the same as the ko one but i think phil said he would try to get down thursday so im sure either phil or nick or matt even will be there and they all run the 3vc.
