Should really be getting close, if not 10mins with that engine.
Check your drivetrain is free, clutch is in good condition. Also check the glowplug as well. How much running has the engine had?

There are no 10 minute engines.
10 minute drivers yes, engines no. Run-time depends on many variables. Not in any order the factors are (but not restricted to) track, track conditions, driving style, tuning skills, condition of engine, fuel, plug, weather, condition of car and on and on.... |

Do you need to run 7mm Venturi? Try a 6mm
I ran the 2045 pipe, definitely got more fuel mileage with a jp4 pipe (great all round pipe) Personally I think you would need to be running quite lean & in perfect conditions to get 10 minutes from that engine My opinion is until a driver is able to drive like the 'fast boys' no point in leaning a motor out for optimum mileage,as I say just my opinion.

Thanks for the advice guys. The engines had about a gallon through it but think I might try the 6mm Venturi. Also thinking maybe a change engine to due to newer developments in them.
