Default paint on paint?

Hi could anyone tell me if its safe to spray tamiya aerosol paint onto faskolor airbrush paint ?

Can you test some on some scrap, that's the best way to tell.

I've not sprayed tamiya but have used various other Aerosols over faskolor without any problem.

Make sure the Faskolor is completely cured, ideally heat with a heat gun prior to applying the aerosol. Then you need to mist on the first couple of coats and dry with a heat gun in between coats. Then you can put a slightly thicker coat on but lots of thin coats heat dried in between won't hurt.

indeed, if ever in doubt when dealing with paints, test first.

Thanks for help another quick question now the faskolor paint is dry it seems to be able to scratch with a finger nail is there a clear coat or something to finish it off and make it more hardy thanks again.

I think most of us on here use Plastikote, you can get a clear or white to back stuff with and I'd usually advise people to put some tape behind that which just protects the paint.
