Default Mad Monkey or Tlr 22 ?

right i have got it down to a secondhand TLR 22 or a new mad monkey with a few upgrades , what are peoples thoughts as to which way to go ?

would i be right in thinking the x2c uses saddle lipos ? , i want to use my stick lipos

I'd go new every time, if that's what it's down to, as you just know what your getting. I don't think at club level there is a great deal of difference between the two cars in the competitiveness stakes!!

If you want to use stick packs the 22 will have to be rear motor, is possible to use sticks with mid,BUT hell it's a squeeze! I've never seen it done but a couple of people have told me they have done it.
The madmonkey is ok,but you do get what you pay for,if you want to run it errrm hard,you would need to do some work and spend a fair bit,

So TBH for a great day at club the 22 is best for the money, as thomas shows every week they are very very tough!!!
If you realy want mid, how about an X6, as that what the monkey is a copy of, you have AE parts and you can use stick packs

Out of the 2 cars your asking about, the losi 22 wins every day. Spares back up is great full stop and the car is tough.
