Right, we have sky but I don't bend over and pay for the HD package or sports, but there is a Sky Sports F1 channel and a Sky Sports F1 HD channel. I can view the non HD channel at the moment, is this likely to be shut down does anyone know or can I still watch F1 on that?

Sorry, that will be shut down later this week, they are tempting you by letting you watch it for a while then an hour before the race starts.................dreaded blue screen

Sadly, no he isn't
SKY F1 you need to have a sports pack,
SKY F1 HD you need to have the HD option, but you don't need the sports as well.
