I need to remove some tyres from some old rimss and put them on some new ones, which method of removal will work best for this??? I have read up on it but could do with an experienced point of view. Thanks ![]()

Acetone is in my opinion the best way, I use the stuff from nuclear-rc, found it to be some of the best stuff to use, use a small amount in a sealed tub, cut the tires of the rim, remove the foam and leave for a day or so.

Acetone here as well. Have got a container which is big enough to do 4 or so sets of tyres, I hang them from the lid above a small amount of acetone in the bottom of the container.

Acetone. I juse use a sandwich box with a rubber sealed lid, and nail varnish remover from Tescos.
Tried baking and even with the windows open and an extractor fan running the house stinks of superglue for hours afterwards ![]() |
