Recommended gearing for a 17.5
Hey,
I race indoors at YORCC, and decided to get myself a brushless setup to avoid constantly buying brushed motors, but am a little confused by something I was told last night about gearing.
Apparently in order to avoid overheating my motor, I need to gear properly. Since i dont want to change my spur, its a little close to the weekend for that, I apparently need to chance my pinion to a 33t to achieve an overall gearing of 6.0.
Anyone else got an experience of gearing 17.5's for a 4wd indoor and fancy giving me some hints and tips on this one? I dont want to nuke my motor on its first run by stressing it to highly, but would still like to be nice and quick.
Thanks in advance
AC
