Cat SX3 Trans housing
Stripped out the threads from the rear left lower transmission housing on my SX3 last night (oops).
PART NUMBER: U3873 http://www.racing-cars.com/pp/New_Ca...SX3/U3873.html  Pricey for a new replacement at £18 from Schuey. Anyone got any 2nd hand ones for sale? PM me!  Thanks.

my dad thought he'd stripped the threads, but turned out the screw wasn't long enough so he has one he bought and doesn't need. I'll need to confirm which side though.
He might be up for a deal on it.

you can ether try the suggested above, (longer screw) or try putting a small flat nut inside gearbox make sure it clears the diff.

If there's a better pit crew to be had, I havent heard of it!! Cheers for all the help guys. G - let me know if you've got that housing for sale anyways, would be good as a spare. Meantime, I'll try out the mods. Thanks guys!
