Someone has already tried the AE gear diff and it doesn't fit in a X2c gearbox. The original B4 diff is smaller than the B4.1 diff which is the same size as the gear diff used in the SC10/ b4.1 I believe.
Just have to hold tight for the team c one, personally I haven't had many problems with the ball one though. ![]()

if you rebuild the standard diff with 1/16" carbide balls in the thrust race and 3/32" in the main diff it will be silky smooth and last for quite a while

I've just ordered a associated SC10 B4.1 gear diff cause i'm unable to setup de ball diff right. The locknut for diff screw doesn't fit into the locknut holder.
So i left the locknut holder out but i'm unable to tighten the diff screw as it should be, meaning diff is a bit loose when hitting full throttle to start running. Hoping the associated gear diff will fit the diffcase to have a good working diff. |
