Hello.
Can anybody tell me what extra bits i will need to finish the C4.1 using the B4.1 RTR as a donor car. Many Thanks Chris. |

Chris, if your RTR has the gear diff then all you need is the complete B4.1 ball diff
Alternatively some people on here have dremeled the inside of the gearbox casing so that the gear diff fits, if you did that you wouldn't need anything ![]() |

Still not sure if the C4.1 is the car too go for. is the chassis too weak? Losi 22 Durango 201 AE C4.1 Hmmm. Which to get! ![]() |

The chassis is not weak.
If you crash hard a plastic car, it will snap & you go home (who carries a spare chassis? I didn't when I snapped my first B4.1 chassis). If you crash hard an alloy chassis car it will bend but it carries on driving - then you bend it back and carry on racing. The C4.1 is designed to be no compromise for best handling, if you are a beginner (I assume this as you have an RTR and worrying about chassis too weak) and can't take advantage of the handling - just run you RTR, slowly upgrade the RTR to have ball-diff and stuff, then get the C4.1 in a year when your skill justifies the upgrade. |

I have just baught a C4.1.
![]() I am not a beginner so not worried about crashing but just wondered if it was a weak point on the car. I got the RTR as it is good value for money and it gets me into the A final most weeks. Cant wait to have a go Thanks Chris. |
