Default Brushed motor for V12?

Hi,

I will be racing a new V12 on a small full carpet indoor toring car track. What wind brushed motor could I run that is still drivable on 4.8v? Or is the stock motor OK?

Thanks.

most clubs run a stock class which is normally a mardave g2 motor which is 27turn and some clubs also let them run HPI saturn 20 motors which is a 20 turn. and as long as your esc runs 4.8v it will be fine.

So a 20T single on 4.8v is the most you could run before it all goes wrong. And if that 20T was run on 7.2v, it would be stupid!

So I'm looking for an ESC that can take down to 20Tand run on 4.8v

Thanks.

Speedmaster V60 / Mardave G28
Or
Novak Xrs
The Novak is good but the V60/G28 are better.

there is no real eqivalent, as brushless are very different and geared differently, but what i have been told speed wise that a good 19t is similar to 10.5 brushless?

feel free to correct me if im wrong.
Alex

people are running a 13t sensorless combo instead of 20t brushed in tamiya mini's but brushless isn't allowed in mardave at our club
