Quite a few people now have asked me what the bumper I use on my car is. So I thought I'd post it on here to make it easier
![]() Bumper fitted to car: ![]() The parts required are: xray 301223 (foam bumper) xray 301202 (lower bumper plate) xray 301324 (body posts) xray 301213 (graphite upper bumper holder. A cheaper plastic version of this part is available too.) Parts laid out - note that the lower bumper plate is one I made myself out of a piece of carbon, but is exactly the same as the xray one. ![]() The underside of the lower bumper plate is recessed to fit around the narrow front of the t3 chassis, and as a result is not flat. This recess needs sanding off so it is flat. If the bumper is being fitted to a ce chassis, the upper plate needs two grooves dremeling into it to accomodate the bumper support posts as shown: ![]() The only other modification that needs doing is two 3mm holes need drilling in the front of the chassis to mount the bumper like so: ![]() Then just slide the bumper over the mounts and fix with the top plate. ![]() I've used this setup for about 18 months now and have never replaced any of the parts. It's solid and protects the shell well too. Hope this helps ![]() Karl

Just wondered as your front looks narrower than mine. My carbon front plate only has wheel base adjustment not front width adjustment.

Is your cf plate the same as your original ce plate? Mine isn't, I am getting slow speed grip roll, so want to make it narrower. But don't wana run the ce plate on the cf chassis, looks wrong.
