Do you mean to stop water getting in? If so i think the best way is to use blue tac round the sensor wire and round the top of the can.

Id prefere a more internal solution to keep it looking nice. When you say the top do you mean around where the top cap sits?

i take it theres a problem with water and brushless then? i know you can run brushed underwater.

just the sensor wire port and wire tabs need covering on them and the same with the speed controllers, not really much of a problem to pretty much waterproof them for the wet,

Ive been told by an experienced racer that it's the front you need to waterproof, not so much the back.
