water based paints clean with water, solvent based paints clean with solvent .
usually what ever you use to thin the paint your spraying you use the same to clean with.

I'm going to be reviewing some products for RRCi soon, some of these are cleaners for airbrushes.
I've allways used water to clean things like faskolor, but since using these cleaning soloutions I can't believe how much better the airbrush performs. I can't remember off the top of my head what they are but I'll let you know where they are from. When I get round to it. http://airbrushes.com/product_info.p...c800a35e52d37c That one is ace. And the foaming cleaner is top at getting rid of gunk in the nozzle and old dry paint. But keep a look out in RRCi for the full review, which includes an airbrush too. |

I use that stuff to, I got a whopping bottle of it and a small one, I decant some into a tub and put a small amount in the bottom and top up with water, enough to emerse the cup in it, makes the brush nice and fresh for the next day, also great on dark to light colour changes too.

I should probably look out for that, still have some old faskolor stuck in my airbrush, found it horrible stuff to work with
