I've managed to strip 2 Kyosho spurs in two meeting, using Titanium Racing's pinions, which only mesh with approximately half the spurs width. So i'm starting to wonder if i'm putting to much stress on one part of the spur.
Two things I was thinking about trying: - 1. Different pinion 2. B4 spur, I assume that means you have to run the B4 slipper pads and backing plates as well?? |

have you checked the slipper? an incorrect slipper setting on a shaft car can cause all kinds of problems through out the drivetrain.

But do you have to do any mods at all to fit those in? |

Think you might be right about the slipper, on trying it on the bench the diffs are giving before the slipper, so i'll try going to the B4 spur and pads and also spend sometime setting the slipper up on the track. Cheers Simon |

If you already have kyosho spurs, spare - then I would just adjust the slipper correctly. But if not go to the B4 spur and pads and make sure the slipper is set right.

The problem with the kyosho is that you have to set the pinion really tight against the spur (more than on a b4). If you don't your pinion will eat up the spur, because of the chassis flex I think. If you take your car and twist the chassis you can see the spur moving in comparison to the pinion gear, at least on my car it is.
