both cars are much of a muchness, b4 is quicker but can bite you in a run for what feels like no reason, xxxcr is ok feels safer to drive and is more pushable but ultimatly doesnt seem to have the pace in mere mortals hands that the b4 delivers. neither car personally suited me that well so i tried an x6 and havent looked back car is safer than both to drive and puts in b4 or quicker lap times for me personally so add a conversion to you which way list

i have both cars... last year i ran the losi xxxcr as i felt it was a better drive, more rewarding and i could push it more whereas the B4 seemed almost too easy or "lazy".

this year, im going to try them both and decide on a final car... there's also my mid motor which i plan to run instead of both if i can sort a few bits out on it

but for me... the xxxcr was better

Has to be the associated b4 for me. I had a xxxcr and didnt take a fancy to it. It seemed to struggle for steering. I find the b4 to be easy to drive. Also i dont think their is going to be a lot of support for the car now that a lot of the team drivers have moved to other manafactures.

I have tried both although the XXX-CR for only a few meetings and the B4 for about 2-3 years.

I prefer the B4 as, in my opinion i can drive one quickly for 5mins in confidence where as the XXX-CR i couldn't.

I think over an individual lap there isn't much between them but over the 5 mins counts and I simply think in the majority of circumstances the B4 is a quicker for me.

i'll second that one, the x6 just feels so much quicker than my b4 ever was

I ran the b4 for 2 seasons but couldnt quite take to it-now I've changed to Losi and I'm very happy with it-have got the all important 'feel' back.Guess it depends on your driving style but i'm much more confident with the losi-dosent feel on edge all the time like my b4 seemed to.Flip a coin I guess!!

I've not run the very latest version of the XXX-Cr but have run previous versions and the B4.

My answer is neigther of them, get an RB5.

For me the RB5 has the stability of the Losi and the steering response of the B4 .... I personally think it is better over the bumps than either of the others.

I find the XXX-Cr not to be responsive enough for my driving style, but I can see why some people like it. The B4 is a quick car but I never got on top of it. 3 laps it would do what I was expecting then on the 4th it would seem to do something random even though the track surface, my line or driving style hadn't changed. This meant I was never confident in the car.

The RB5 is just so smooth and consistent. I will admit that it took me a while to get it 100% to my liking but that was mainly due to me trying something different every run to guage the magnitude of the change. Now I have it dialled to suit me I am very pleased with it, I honestly believe that I'd not be going as quickly with either other car.

Just some food for thought.

I find the cr much more stable if you have the right setupthe cr will be faster i find that my cr has lots of steering i always seemed to have bucket load sof understeer with my b4 even though i ran the same setup as most other people but my cr has lots more steering as it means i can keep tighter aorund corners and ultimatly faster round corners.

Well this car is still available, and I do believe the XXXCR won the worlds in the hands of Jukka as well as the xx4 so both will be competitive against the cars nowadays easily.

Also the XX4 is fantastic as well, if not better than the xxxcr, so you have a choice, and £90 isnt bad either. Anyway let me know

At my local club at there most recent winter series, I was the only person running a XXX CR. The rest of the mix was mainly B4, small amount of X6's and a very fast RB5.

From the buggy I drove previously I feel that the CR is very competative.
