Default which GAS soldering iron?

Hi after looking through this electrics forum i found one section where people reccomend the portasol gas irons.

Is this still the case? will be used for my 1/10 electrics and 1/8 buggy. Also one with a hot air blower attachement would be usefull for heat shrink.

Any reccomendations?

Thank you

I use the solderpro 70 from Maplin.

It's on offer at the moment:

The standard tip you get with it is pretty useless, I would recommend getting the pack which contains the chisel tip.

On another note, it does come with a heat gun attachment but have found this is far too hot to do heatshrink, a lighter normally works well for me.

Portasol is still the best in my opinion, it gets hotter than any other gas iron I've ever seen and makes soldering so easy.
