Reduce the timing settings if you are getting over heating. What turn motor are you using and what pinion?

Yes, Tekins fit well, but they can also overheat. If you get one, make sure to get the pro. I solved my overheating problems by cutting extra cooling holes in the body. I'm hoping the new V3 body will help cool the electronics.

Overheating esc's have been the bane of my racing. My nosram evo ran hotter in my durango than my RS pro. Not raced indoors yet, but even an intense outdoor heat reads 3-4 leds out of 7. Will be using my motor cooler indoors for sure. Glad I got my tekin.

Tekin all the way, I will never use another brand of electric again.

outdoors 7min heats from 7leds never went past 4leds.

I guess I push my car harder than you. I usually get 6-7 leds after 7mins.

Default thanks

thanks for that, i have 0 timing on the speedo its all turned down to the lowest settings, sent esc back to lrp no fault found tried a 6.5 and 5.5 both novak,s motor temp isnt a real issue just the esc, im not sure without looking what spur i have on but its the kit one im sure ive used 20,21, on the 5.5 and 21,22 on the 6.5?? neithermade much differnece its runs slightly better with the 6.5 in though. dunno if i should try a tekin or try an go back to the ye old spere tc which never caused me any issues. if i can find a good one that is.
