Default B4 Brushed Gearing

Hi, Coming back to racing after a long while out, was hoping to have everything sorted out for the 1st worksop meeting this weekend, however due to delays with the dex210 am now going to run my old b4 with a 10 turn motor (brushed) as I dont want to put all new electrics in a car that I wont be using again, so will just use the old electrics I have. My question is with regards gearing, what sort of size pinion and spur gears do people run as I realise lipos have changed everything with regards motor sizes and gearing. Any help would be good.

Thanks

A 10t brushed motor with Li-Po's (especially if they are a high 'C' rating) may not be the best combo for worksop indoors, the B4 is likely to be like a rat on acid.

If you have any higher wind motors about the place it would be good, possibky a 19t with a large pinion?

My head is spinning, cant believe how much things have changed, why would a 10 turn brushed motor too quick compared to a 7 or 8 turn brushless motor which is what most people seem to run. Sorry if its a dumb question but 10 year since i raced.

Higher voltage from the Li-Po's, especially under load.

The windings are different in a brushless motor, number of turns is not comparable.

Yes 2wd, just looking through threads in here and by what was suggested by MB Models thats all, most says 7 or 8 for brushless, like I said not sure what to run gearing/motors ect but trying to find out by speaking to others. What would you say.

Why not just put your brushless gear in your b4 but keep the wires long? They'll easily fit in a b4 shell even if you don't cut anything off?
