Talking show your blast s10

come on you guys with s10's show em off, have you got a nice tidy electric install or custom parts even different shells

ill start with mine its got a 5.5t ezrun on a 15t pinion and flysky reciever
only mod really is the metal lrp hex
used fasttrax dish wheels front and rear
also had a go at making a few custom parts
the front shock tower is homemade
a centre top deck although the material is not strong it was made more for a template same with the battery bar soon gonna be made from something more suitable
rear mud guards from a spare bit of lexan
and a homemade vac formed wing as the original shattered in to a million pieces after the first roll over

future mods different body thinking of the associated b44 original or bulldog proline
and i new mold for different shaped wing i kinda like the look of the ftx vantage one

This is mine.

Upgrades:-
Turnigy Trackstar 60a ESC

13T 3000KV etronix brushless motor

5000maH Zippy LiPo

XT60 connectors
Hobbyking GT2 transmitter and receiver

All in all, when it goes it's a good car, but the brushless upgrade does seem to put a lot more strain on some components, mainly the spur gear and motor mount.

Plus, I've had the traditional troubles with the front left steering knuckle.

Looks like it's just the two of us willing to show our cars.

I've also found that quite a few parts for the FTX Carnage fit the Blast, namely the whole slipper clutch assembly plus a few others look likely to fit.

FTX Spur gears (65t) are £1.99, slipper pads (or gaskets as they are referred to) are the same price, so just under £4 together, as opposed to nearly £11 for the LRP ones.

It's mod.6, like the original.

I ordered a complete slipper clutch assembly, including spur gear, pads and plates and it was £8.99. As opposed to 19.99 for the LRP one, and they're both the same.

Here's a full listing for the FTX Carnage truggy, with pictures so you cna get a better look at what'll fit.
