im still going with 18th scale, check out what I think is a 'screw' near the motor connectors. that looks massive in comparison.
it does say 'sensorless' on the plate, it also says waterproof so that would be a but pointless for a 12th scale |

Maybe the case clips in at the front and screws in at the back?

I think that might be right, but what I meant was that the 'small' screw still looks massive against the rest of the speedo.
18th scale for sure! |
