each transmitter module has its own Globally Unique code & once the rx is programmed to that tx it only recognises that signal
![]() have a nose around the site, they will explain it better than me http://www.spektrumrc.com/DSM/Technology/spekTech.aspx

Sorry, i mean the transmitter module attaching to the transmitter itself, eg so the sticks work!

KO Vantage aside (must be modded by Horizon UK) they just fit where the module goes normally, is this a trick question?

No, sorry I really didn;t see how its a stupid question, I have never seen one up close so assumed it used some sort of plug/socket approach, but not where it would then fit into the transmitter. I have only ever owned one transmitter which even had modules!!

Just like any other module.
Firstly you need a modulated radio, then just remove/unclip the existing 27MHz/40MHz AM/FM PPM/PCM/HRS module and plug in the Spektrum module. It's worth looking outside Spektrum now though, to see if your radio manufacturer make their own module for 2.4GHz. Futaba for example make the FASST system for the 3VC/3PK radio which is superior to Spektrums in many ways (auto detects and allows both PPM and HRS modulation, as well as being on FHDSS rather then DSM). Other manufactures (KO, Sanwa etc) do their own modules too, and they are more likely to better suit your radio as they would be designed specifically for it, rather then generic modulation like Spektrum. |

They use a really really long piece of very thin string.
That's why spektrum users still crash, that strings get all tangled and the cars trip over them.
