Default Had a little thought about a 24 enduro.

I have a little itch that may need scratching, I would like to Co run a 24 hour enduro, for a charity called limb care. They do all sorts of fabulous work with amputees of all ages and disabilities. They have helped My wife and our family no end and I would love to give them something back. I'm thinking of going one of two ways.

I would be looking a 10 teams of 6 the first idea was £50 per head entry and you use one of your own cars and get an orca Q spark combo to run in it, so it would just need batteries, receiver and servo. Then the speedos and motors get ebayed and all proceeds go to Limb care.

The second more preferred option would be £100 per head entry and you get. An X2C and Qspark combo. The entry fee left over from the kit and combo go straight to Limb care. The winning team get to keep a car and combo each and the remaining 4 cars and combos could be donated to which ever club I can get to host it as loan cars for newbys to try/race. It would be lovely to make the disabled world aware of this hobby as it is something that can be enjoyed by almost every body. If this turns out to be a go then I can look into the marketing, sponsorship and getting the press involved. Ect it would raise the profile of the hobby and do both club and charity lots of good.

You would be able to select your own teams but I would like a show of hand for the options. The second is the preferred option as it benefits more people, hell you could even get work or something to sponsor your entry.

The event would be run indoors obviously on mixed surface like the RC arena when it was at High wycombe, that kind of size. Please let me know.

If this turns out to be a success then it could be an annual event.

The brands that I have mentioned were for illistration purposes We would run what ever gear that I could get the best deals on.

Just checking!

Per head, I'm out.

£100, maybe £150 per team I'd be tempted.

Just to clarify I'll not actually be there either way. I'm not allowed out to play at the moment!

Have you been bad. ?

It is a charity. and could be an anual event. think what 24 hours racing would normally cost even 4 hours as that is probably about the amount of track time each person would see. if you pay £10 or there abouts for you normal club meet and get 3 quali's and a final that 20min racing in theriory 4 hours would ccost around £120 so it's not really that dear is it!

Thank you Freddie.

So far we have a team of 2

£600 per team seems a bit much doesn't it... I know it's for charity, but still...
