Well get yourself along to the Barley Mow club at Birtley on a sunday night
carpet racing so use foam tyres or slick rubber tyres. Type of racing is 1/12th scale pan cars 1/12th scale Mardave 1/10th Touring cars AMBRC lap timing system Also most racing nights there is a tuckshop where you can get tea/coffee hotdogs cold drinks etc ![]() ![]() you don't need a table or chair as they are all provided Sunday night at the Barley mow village hall just behind the Barley mow pub Birtley doors open 5pm for track building racing starts 6pm-9pm First night racing is free if your new then £3 there after Gary ![]() ![]() |

how many people run mardaves at barley mow?
thinking about getting one but dont want to be running on my own ![]()

A couple at most usually, but there seems to be interest from Furball here on the forum, so who knows if it will grow.
alternatively you could run foams on your touring car. Lazysurfer & Tangerine Dream from TyneMet were guesting in the touring car heat, with Lazysurfer taking the win in the 'A' Final ![]() Credibility was upheld with Barley Mows very own C&A taking 2nd & 3rd in the 'A' Final ![]() Some close racing made the night really good, hope the TyneMet Hit Men call back again soon (that's when the gloves will come off) ![]() |
