The only difference between the SP GT2 and the GT2 LPF is the height.
The "Low Profile Version" is lower - its what I run and its first class, really reliable. Never had any problems with it at all. Also, if you run a SP motor with the GT2 then the ESC thermal protection also monitors your motor and can shut it off too. As for the LRP, I dont know as Ive only used the SP. |

I thought the Speed passion GT 2.1 is the lower version of the GT 2??
![]() Because the LPF is cheaper then the GT 2, because of the height!? Now im confused...

No, the LPF is just a resized GT 2.0
The 2.1 is a newer esc. (I think specifically designed for stock racing, but not 100% sure about that) So, for your 22, the SP range would be: GT 2.0 GT 2.0 LPF (same as GT2.0 but smaller) GT 2.0 Pro (same as GT2.0 but with extra features, the best ones being the 'supercharger' and ability to use USB to update the firmware) GT 2.1 (Prostock or EX) You might want to check that the GT 2.1 is suitable for your racing as they are specifically targetted at stock and possibly touring cars. If it was my choice, I would go for the GT 2.0 Pro if you can afford (and fit!) it. The 22 doesnt have much space, so I know some guys have been using smaller LRP esc's to help fit everything in. |

if it's sold, im going with the LRP sxx v2 i think... EDIT: I just saw that the GT 2.0 PRO is 165 gbp and LRP sxx v2 163 gbp :P haha will go for the speed passion instead...

As long as it fits in your 22 then the GT 2.0 Pro is an awesome speedo.
Good choice I think! ![]() ... but dont just take my word for it, Ive never used LRP, they might be even better! : |
