Default About TRF502X questions

HI,everybody

I like the look of TRF502X.
The carbon fiber lower decks of TRF502X is only 2.5MM ,so I worry that it is easily broken .I know TRF502X is designed for top-level races .But I still want to know the answers of two questions below.

1. If I run TRF502X on somewhere that there are many stones in ,and it jump over about 2 meters ,will the carbon fiber lower decks be broken easily?

2. Are the materials of all aluminum parts the same as the item #53642 ?

TRF502X is an awesome car, jumps great, handles great and overall excellent chassis, wouldn't change it for any other chassis out there. There are people who prefer the TRF511 which is an excellent chassis as well but I went 502X for the shaft drive because of the tracks I tend to race on. I've ran on grass, astro and some concrete and never had any problems. It's Tamiyas first offroad chassis designed with Lipo in mind and gives you the option of running your Lipo forward or rear in the chassis which depending on track is a valuable tuning option. I could go on all day about this car but won't. I can't praise this car enough and think you'd be very impressed with it. I've never broke anything on the car, my front gearbox casing got broke but that wasn't my fault, someone stopped dead in front of me and couldn't be avoided. Hope this helps you buddy. Some of the jumps at our track are plywood drops on to rock-hard hardpan and the TRF doesn't flinch. I agree with all the comments about how well this chassis jumps. Chassis strength is not an issue to worry about as far as I can tell. It has a lexan undertray to protect the chassis from scratches. Very durable buggy and great quality.

a 502x is too good of a car to be bashing around IMHO, if that is what your looking at doing, which from the sounds of if is the case.

you could do the same thing on a db01, or even a Short Course Truck.
